| Good morning everyone. I’m relatively new to WV, having escaped from behind enemy lines in MD, and I love finally living in a free state. My question is: Does anyone have experience shooting a FRT either on their own property or at a public range? I just bought my first FRT and want to try it. Should I worry about attracting the attention of State or Local LEO? I don’t want to be arrested by an officer that doesn’t understand how FRTs work, and charged with possession of a machine gun. In my experience in Maryland, most officers know next to nothing about how firearms actually work. I appreciate any information. I’m in Lewis County BTW. Thanks. |
| Hasn't been a problem here in western Greenbrier county. I may know a few LEO's that have them too. Really depends on your neighbors though. Be sure you follow the 500ft from a dwelling and and the rest of the common sense safety rules. Had mine out a bunch at the local private range and never any issues. |

I've used them while shooting with some local law enforcement here in the Lewisburg area. No issues at all. |
