Recent polls of interest. I know. I know. I realize polls have become a tool of persuasion rather than measurement but here it is for your entertainment. LINKY to 270 to Win 2026 Georgia governor polls According to this poll, Rick Jackson appears to be front runner for Republican candidate and Keisha Bottoms is sweeping it for Democratic candidate. In the November General election Bottoms polls ahead of Burt Jones by 49% to 43%; Bottoms ahead of Brad Raffensperger by 46% to 44%; and Bottoms ahead of Rick Jackson by 49% to 43% IMHO, any polling of the November general election taken before the May primaries is of only limited utility. There is no measurement for which extent parties may or may not coalesce behind the party candidate in November. Personally, I think the clear winner in the Republican primary is the US Postal Service. BTW: This is not an endoresement of any candidate or political party |

Clark Dean is a candidate in the Republican gubernatorial race. I haven't heard much discussion about him one way or the other. I saw a newspaper article that headlined one of the gubernatorial candidates was using AI to answer questions the way he would answer them. It got my curiosity up. We have many benefits as citizens of this great nation. We also have obligations. We have the obligation to pay taxes, occasionally serve on juries, and to vote. Many, including some of us, gripe about these obligations but they are obligations nonetheless. I believe that informed voting is an American duty and an unappreciated privilege. I've gone back and forth on a few candidates, The ones that are 100% NOPE for me are Raffensperger and any candidate endorsed by or having any close ties to Brian Kemp. That eliminates Derick Dolly and Bill Cowsert running for AG (Kemp's brother in law) |
