So the Mp5SD k is finally moving forward... the Barrel pins are STUBBORN... So I now have the proper tool... but even it required a bit of work... Nice bit of kit... if you can't make it right at least make it shiny... the punch that came with the kit was 316 Stainless hardened to just a smidge harder than Gouda...  it went all spaghetti with a bit more pressure than I could apply by hand. Contacted the Vendor and hoping they will at least reimburse me for the amount I had to buy to fix it...  The fixture is a bit of a pain in the butt... but it worked. the barrel press parts are "Chef's Kiss" !     Now to cut trim and fit the shroud and trim the cocking tube to fit with the can, and to modify the cocking bearer the same way. |
