And on top of that it furthers the precedence where a gross misdemeanor can result in the loss of rights. I know it is a "slippery slope" argument, but where do you draw line? What additional crimes should be punished similarly under this argument? Does the list keep growing until a misdemeanor traffic offense or trespassing conviction mean someone is not able to own a gun? |
