The MI House and Senate recently passed an education bill with funds allocated to create a snitch line for students to report their parents/guardians for improperly stored firearms. GOA lists the members who voted AGAINST the bill in the following link. If your rep/senator isn't listed, that means they voted for this trash and you should contact them. LINK to GOA's site with more info and form to contact your rep/senator. |

| Unless I read it wrong. There's no requirement you store a gun any certain way. The law just says if you dont and any of the following result that you'll be held responsible. It would be like a drunk driving law that only has penalty if you get in a wreck, injure, or kill somebody. |

Best course of action is to ignore them if they come around. Don't give them exigency or reason to get a warrant and enter your home; and certainly don't give then consent. |
