I am going to a business meeting in Vegas. Other than do the obvious and rent machine guns, what stores would you recommend visiting? You know, the kind that sells high quality stuff us ARFCOMers would appreciate or have a preban HK 91 on the wall?  I also would like a recommendation for a normal indoor handgun range. I want to see if anyone has a HK CC9 to rent. Thanks |

I used to be a New Frontier Armory guy but now they are closed. I did pick up a couple of guns from Freedom Firearms this year but they are on the other side of the valley from me. They do have an outstanding selection of stuff. Freedom does have a TON of product, some of it very interesting. I'd give them a try, I also like Sheepdog Armory in the north. It's a small shop and they won't have an HK91 on the wall but they have some oddball stuff here and there and great employees who aren't dickheads. The owner is Anna, if you meet her tell her Bob from Pioche recommended them, she's great. |

I have a NIB HK91 available at the ATF Convenience Store, but that would mean traveling from Vegas to Kingman AZ, (couple hours). The hard part on that is actually catching me in the shop and not out wandering the wastelands. |
In the long term, tax stamps and prostitutes are cheaper.

Sheepdog are good people as well…now I’m down southwest , the drive to and from is getting far- any suggestions for closer shops with good people like NFA OR Sheepdog? |
| Ventura Munitions seems to have a decent selection of firearms and is relatively close to the Strip. Nearby is Peacemaker Firearms who are okay. If you happen to make a trip North of the city, Spartan Arms is a decent place and just down the street from the Clark County Shooting Complex. I believe Sig now sponsors the shooting complex so you should have a decent selection of rentals there. |
