| I haven't had a chance to follow the NJ and MA stun gun cases...but are you then folding the win into a case against banning pistols like they do in NY, NJ etc? Simply owning a handgun should not require a permit. |

| So here's the latest. The march 6 conf got cancelled. We are having 3 hearings on march 24 in Utica. We will leave Utica march 24 afternoon to head back to Albany and then head out march 25. So if y'all are up for dinner on the 24 night in Albany, Alan and I will be there. Or dinner on 23 night in Utica (if people are there) we are down for that too! |

| Not to disparage your work at all Nolo - we greatly appreciate making any strides in striking down any dumbass NY laws...But we need the unSAFE act to get tossed, then we need the arbitrary and capricious pistol laws to get thrown out. |

Everytown for gun violence (or whatever they are called) filed an amicus in the case today. These people are crazy. Oh, and they pretty much tell the Court they don't care about Heller. I'll post it up tomorrow. |

It will have to go back up to SCOTUS...where they would almost surely agree with you. But there is ZERO chance of winning any pro-2nd amendment case in NY. This is NY. They don't give a fuck. Just wait for the NY judge's mental gymnastics to disregard your Caetano case. So thank you for your work!!! But it's going to be a long road for this case until SCOTUS gets it. |
