I really miss living out west. I've been in Maryland now for 7 years. There is a job at Buckley AFB that I was thinking of applying for. I checked out the house prices in the area on Zillow. The houses in Aurora are about 10% cheaper than here and look much nicer. Everything here was built in the 70 and looks like crap. How is the crime, park system, schools, Healthcare access, etc. |

Colorado quality of life in general sucks most people with common sense and the means are leaving. Parker has a slight edge over Aurora, but honestly there is no where in the Denver metro area that I would live. And it is creeping north, Weld county used to be a more conservative area, but demographics are changing

But where to go? The problems that plague Colorado are almost everywhere. The only places that don't have rising costs, liberal infestation, homelessness, and crime increases are super remote places with bad weather. Parts of Aurora are fine, my buddy lived in Aurora and his neighborhood was nice. You could also look at Parker, east of 470, or the South part of the city. |

Shore-up other states like KY (it's not all remote) and there are at least a few others. When there are enough blue states and the fed govt makes things worse, then the good states can file for divorce. Yeah, I'm still here in Kolorado... for now. |
