Yes, absolutely. We are dangerously close to having a blue trifecta here, and I have no doubt if that happens Bloomberg and his anti-gun groups are going to press to have the Dems ram an AWB through. It happens every time Dems take full control of a state government as we are seeing in VA. I am pretty concerned for later this year as the state legislature has been trending blue, and the GOP got absolutely shellacked in the state house last midterms when Trump was in office the first time around. It also doesn't help that that state GOP insists on running candidates for governor that have zero electability in a statewide race (Wagner and Mastriano). Voter registration in PA has been trending red but it doesn't matter if those people don't actually bother voting when there's not a Presidential race on the ballot. |

You’re in the 3rd Circuit, which will probably decide against NJ’s AWB and carry restrictions this year, but the midterms aren’t looking good right now and as the Virginia legislature has demonstrated the last three years, even very narrow majorities are enough. So yes, it can happen to you. The writing was on the wall in VA in 2019, and it was only by dint of a narrow senate majority undermined by a few not completely anti gun democratic senators that we didn’t get a ban in 2020. Well, they’re gone, and that’s the ballgame. |

Hey Guys...not sure how many of you are aware of the coming assault on our supposed Constitutional rights...but I figured it would be a good idea to get everyone on board and address the issue proactively, rather than wait until the damage is already done and become reactive. I don't mean to piss any of you off...but gun owners as a whole tend to rationalize why they choose not to vote. Much of the reasoning is pretty childish and just an excuse...we all know those reasons. At the end of the day, reasons don't get you the preferred outcome to an election...its votes. PA has made a lot of progress with guys like Scott Presler going across the State for months at a time, registering voters. That is all fine and dandy, but if those voters don't go out for the mid-term election...its all for shit. In brief, there is Bill SB200 being pushed by the Democrats in the PA Senate which, if passed, would ban AR-15s and semi-automatic handguns. Existing owners would be “grandfathered” but would need to pay for and secure a Certificate of Possession for each of their guns. If this were to be defeated, there is still HB2126 which, if passed, would require you to apply for government permission to purchase a firearm by submitting an application to your sheriff, undergoing PA State Police investigation, and paying a licensing fee, completing training, and waiting for government approval. Do you really want to go through this shit? According to a report published just a few days ago in the Pittsburgh Gazette, Michael Bloomberg just dumped $4.5 million into Governor Josh Shapiro’s political machine. George Soros has shoveled another $1.5 million into it. We have all seen how Bloomberg bankrolls groups like Everytown for Gun Safety and Moms Demand Action, and he’s spent the last six years pouring millions into Pennsylvania elections to flip legislatures so gun-grabbers can pass their agenda. Soros is infamous for funding anti-gun prosecutors like Philadelphia’s Larry Krasner, who releases violent criminals instead of locking them up. Bloomberg, Soros, and their friends are flooding money into the campaign account of every gun-control militant you can think of in Pennsylvania. They want the votes in Harrisburg to pass their entire gun-control agenda in PA. We all just watched what happened in Virginia. They’ll pass laws in Harrisburg that turn free Americans into felons overnight for owning firearms they bought legally. Voter apathy is one of the greatest dangers to our Second Amendment rights. When gun owners and supporters stay home on election day, anti-gun politicians gain power unchecked, pushing restrictive legislation that chips away at our freedoms. Virginia is a prime example of that process in play. Apathy at the polls hands our rights to those who would erode them. Low voter turnout from our community of gun owners has led...and will continue to lead, to laws that threaten our rights and the integrity of our range. If Covid wasn't a precursor of what happens, by shutting down our country, then we weren't listening. A buddy of mine who I shoot with regularly is reaching out to over 80 other gun clubs in the State of PA...all with the intent of getting these guys to show up at the polls next November. Choosing to sit this out is just a poor excuse for us not to exercise our civic duty...please don't choose to be that guy who doesn't give a shit. We need every damn one of you to take a stand and make it count...now, more than ever. Deciding to make a difference is a choice. Choosing to do nothing is just lazy and un-American. So...whose in? |

Another one...time to call these stupid fucks and tell them what you think. This isn't going to stop unless we do something about it. its time to do something about it. Pennsylvania politicians are once again pushing one of the gun control lobby’s top priorities. "Universal background checks." But let’s call it what it really is. Universal gun registration. House Bill 1593 would outlaw nearly every private firearm sale in Pennsylvania. Once the government requires paperwork for nearly every transfer, tracking firearm ownership becomes easy. And history shows exactly where that leads - gun confiscation. Now the fight moves to the Pennsylvania Senate. The Senate returns to session Monday, March 16. This is the critical moment for gun owners to speak out. Tell your senator to stop this bill before it goes any further. |

| We are moving in 2 weeks to York County and I really hope not. I can't believe what has happened to our 2nd Amendment here in Virginia. Todays news is proof you can not legislate new laws to make people safe. Just Fairfax was the tie breaking vote that created our red flag law and was a big proponent against guns and look what happens? He himself committed the very same act that he tried to enslave on us! |

I believe the gun culture is growing in PA. I see more and more new people showing up to public matches at several of the clubs I belong to, and a lot of them are in the sub-30 year old demographic. They generally seem to hold pretty conservative viewpoints/2nd Amendment absolutists. They're also spending a LOT of money on stuff that will most likely be targeted in a ban - ARs, modified race guns, suppressors, etc. However, Pennsylvanians cannot be lazy in elections. A lot of us are looking at Virginia as a warning. |

We're busy working, having families, things seem to be relatively normal/stable, and we just want to be left alone to enjoy our lives.
