Anyone heard anything about investors paying insane prices for land in this area for housing developments? Heard through the grapevine that some people have been offered high prices in the area from investors wanting to build houses for the increased workforce they are expecting because of the new industries going in around the area. Wife and I own some ground on a paved road west of Baldwin City and if true this might be a good time to dump the ground and use the money to buy land closer to home that will retain it's value outside of a niche market.
