   A-8185, Repeals certain provisions establishing a fee for background checks on certain firearm and ammunition purchases; removes such fees as a source of funds for the background check fund.

Looks like they are backtracking on a compromise

Both the assembly and senate bills are sponsored by republicans. Do these really stand a chance of passing?

I mean no way in hell. They don't want to make it easy, even for law abiding people who went through hell to get a pistol permit, to buy guns or ammo.

They want to delay, delay, delay so people just give up.

Also, the semi auto rifle license is a total abomination and needs to go. Harder to obtain the license than an NFA item, but you can't buy a Ruger 10/22 without it. Unbelievable.
