Hey Y'all! I'm heading out to see my folks next week right outside of Phoenix and we are traveling for a few weeks to enjoy multiple states. Being located in the South (Virginia specifically) I've never really gotten the opportunity to bust primers at extreme distances behind a proper set up in a rifle. I would really appreciate the opportunity to meet with someone to send a few rounds on something accurate and hard-hitting before I come back home. It's arrogant to ask but, if I could touch base with a fellow gun-nerd to burn a little powder I would most definitely appreciate it! Desert Sharpshooters runs shoots and matches at the Ben Avery range, mostly 600 and 1000 yds, F-class and match/palma rifle. ASRPA 200-300-600yd service rifle shoots are also held there less often. The two clubs PRGC & RSSC also have a monthly 500yd shoot. (Technically 500/600 is 'medium range" in NRA/CMP events 800 to 1000 yds is Long Range.) check their sched https://www.desertsharpshooters.com/ you can show up and watch.
