| Define close? If you're willing to drive a couple of house, Dead Zero in Spencer has 100, 300, 600, 800, 1000 yard electronic targets. Public range, something like $55/day to shoot. There's a really fun long-range steel challenge match 1st Sat of every month there. |

Im moving to Turtletown area this fall and was researching where to go shoot. Long range I guess I will be driving 100+ miles to Deadzero in Spencer. I did find this place that seemed to have something longer than 100yd, but last online comment seems to be in 2018: B and B Rifle/Pistol Ranges 5960 Cottonport Rd Dayton, TN 37321 No info on cost, membership, or whatever. Anybody know if it still exists? No website. I havent tried the old phone numbers found online. Street view guy doesn't make it there LOL. |
| I'm over in Cleveland/Reliance and drive out to Dead Zero occasionally. We make it a full day on rifle and pistol. Lots of steel to shoot pistols at and the long range rifle is awesome with a tablet at your bench to track round placement. The Cookie Jar Cafe is just north of Dunlap and well worth the stop. |
