Metal detectors at Encore Boston casino?

I have to run into the Encore casino to pick something up. Has anyone been there recently? Do they have metal detectors there. If so I may park out front and send my kid in to pick it up.

Good rule of thumb for large venues in MA, there will be metal detectors.

I don't know about that casino, but the MGM in Springfield has hidden ones near the entrances.

Fyi they have the evolv scanners at the entrances from the parking garage.

There is a MA CMR (administrative law) that prohibits guns in ALL casinos (and any casino property, e.g. parking garage/lot) in MA. People have been ejected from Plainfield casino for violating this law.
