Greetings fellow firearms enthusiasts. Me, my wife and two rottweilers are moving to a rural property in Marquette County 25 minutes outside of Ishpeming next month. I'm a retired federal agent (not the ATF, they're gay) and a Desert Storm vet who decided to move someplace quite. That being said, I'm just checking in to see who else is in the area, and I am looking for future possible accomplices for shenanigans. |
| "Shenanigans" sound like fun but I'm 7 hours south of you. I've been back in MI for 2 1/2 years, now I find all kind of things to stay busy. Find a close sportsmen club and local forums. It helped me get to know the locals! |

I've never even been to the UP, but there's an Arfcommer called Paul (I think) who is a retired sailor - not sure what else he's done- who did the same for the same reasons. He posts in GD regularly and has talked about it a lot. He's never mentioned exactly where he lives, just that it's in the UP. |
