I was on the opposite side across from the main terminal and noticed some flashing lights at the end of the road. Sure enough 6 large tour buses rolled past 1940hrs. Whats up ?

I came out of the Olive Garden in North Myrtle Beach and saw a V-22 Osprey on approach. It was loud and had the rotors vertical for landing. Must be a squadron based at NMB?

Negative. NMB is just a landing place for Ospreys to train and fuel up.  Likewise, The Airforce and Navy use Myrtle Beach International for touch and goes as well as refueling. MBI once was an Airforce base.
