Does anyone know an antique furniture appraiser they trust? Preferably around the Stone Mountain area. I'm guessing not but never hurts to ask.

You looking for appraisal for insurance or trying to sell? I don't know anybody, but presume you could get an appraisal from an auction house, or possibly get some ideas from the insurance agent who has your home owner's policy. My Mom did something like that ~40 years ago for some of my grandmother's furniture. I have a chair and a footstool that are supposedly from the late 18th or early 19th centuries. I forget which.

We want to sell it.  I know one of the pieces, a old dentists cabinet, is around 1900 but the other pieces I have no idea. I'll try some antiques shops and check on the auction idea to see if they can recommend someone. Thanks

The Antique furniture business is pretty slow now.
People want Pottery barn.  Good luck.

I expected the antique furniture business to always be slow.
