The elected Governor of the great State of California has to "beg" unelected regulators to allow a piece of the critical energy infrastructure of our State and our Nation, to stay in business. Why is that? "... prices have cratered with the spread of the coronavirus pandemic...", not everything is due to your corona virus panic. That was 5 years ago. That excuse is worn out. People are back on the roads. Fix these problems - "California’s “cap-and-trade” program, as well as its tax environment and push to ban the sale of new gas-powered cars in the state by 2035, are frequently cited as examples of hostile regulation driving refineries out of the state." What Newsom DOES: cuts available jail space by 1/3 (18k down to 12 k). A convenient excuse is provided by his co-conspirators working together to subvert the will of the people: "While Gov. Newsom has claimed that he “absolutely will implement the will of the voters,” following the passage of Prop 36, the state legislature has refused to allocate the funding necessary to implement it. California Penal Reform and the Violent Criminals It Let Loose Newsom sucks on every issue. Is Newsom speaking about the legislators preventing Prop 36 from being realized, asking for help from the voters? No, is the answer. |
