Hey people of the great state of Oklahoma...we have seats available in Try Before You Buy, Nighfighter 101 and Nighfighter 201 for the Fall 2025 training season: ?October 2, Badlands Tactical, Grandfield OK Try Before You Buy ?October 3-5, Badlands Tactical, Grandfield OK Nightfighter 201 ?October 4-5, Badlands Tactical, Grandfield OK, Nightfighter 101 FAQs: Where can I fly into for training in Grandfield, OK? You have a couple of options for airports to get you into this area. You can fly into the Dallas (DFW or DAL) airports which will put you about 2.5 hours away from the training location. Oklahoma City (OKC) is about 90 minutes away. Lawton, OK (LAW) is about 30 minutes away and has limited service and Wichita Falls, TX (SPS) with limited service is about 20 minutes away. Where should I stay for this class? We recommend that you stay at the facilities offered by Badlands Tactical. The closest hotels are in Lawton or Wichita Falls, and the facilities offered by the host are reasonable and bring a social aspect to the class. We stay there for convenience and student interaction. Plus, the hosts go out of their way to make your stay as good as it can be. Prior to class, a detailed email will be sent to students with lodging information. We do not have any financial interest in lodging at this location. Where does the training take place? Badlands Tactical (https://badlandstactical.org/)hosts our classes. We conduct classroom training at the Badlands Tactical classroom, and then drive about 10 minutes outside of town for the range portion. Are there any range fees for this location? No, Badlands does not charge students range fees for our classes. Try Before You Buy: The Try Before You Buy is a single night (roughly 6-8 hours) event to help new and prospective buyers get a detailed and personal session to help them make an informed decision on their night vision purchases. Purposely small, we want to make sure that we can give the customer enough time and information to guide them through the technologies and options available to them. Customers will be able sample products and options currently available for purchase and experience them in use. Nightfighter 101: Nightfighter 101 is designed to arm students with a solid understanding of the fundamentals of night vision operation and use. Beginning with gear choice and setup, the class provides students the tools for learning to move, shoot, and communicate in low-light/no-light environments safely / effectively. Students will participate in a variety of movement and live-fire exercises aimed at producing a core competency with night vision goggles, lasers, and white light. Nightfighter 201: Unlike Nightfighter 101 and other “Level 1” Night Vision based courses, Nightfighter 201 is designed to provide advanced instruction to students who already are competent in low/no-light operations. This course focuses on building upon students’ already established skillsets in both individual and team settings for increased capabilities in a variety of different environments. Students will execute a number of tactical and skilled-based tasks including team movement and communication, target discrimination/engagement, advanced problem solving and individual/team tasks in an assortment of environments.
