As of about 2100hrs last night, 46,400 pushups was met.
3 years ago, today, I remember thinking I wanted to do 911 pushups on 9/11. I was 186lbs that morning. I reached 50,000 pushups for 2021 on that day, and I distinctly remember thinking I had more in the tank. On 15SEP2021, I resumed my routine, and by November, I was at 59,000 YTD. I took a couple weeks off, recovered, and on 04DEC2021, did 1000 pushups in a day and achieved 60,000 for the year. I am stopping at 50,000 this year because 250,000 in 4 years is a lot to do, and I'm growing tired of them However, today is normally a day of 300, but I am going to do 415 to honor those emergency workers who lost their lives 23 years ago. |
