I am happy to announce that yesterday we had the preconstruction meeting with the contractor and issued the notice to proceed letter with a date of 9/2/26 for the construction of the new Pleasant Hope Range. The contractor intends to start work immediately. The range will have three 100 yard lanes, three 50 yard lanes, and four 25 yard lanes. For those that used that range the entrance will no longer be from the south, now its entrance will be on the north side of the area. |

Having moved here from AZ in the Spring of 2023 I never got to use it but have used Busiek and Lead Mine. Andy Dalton is a nice facility but I find how it's run to be less than optimal, that said I've never been kicked off either. Worst infraction there was getting warned once for shooting an M1 Garand too fast. I'll drive to ranges such as Miller (Range 360), Cherokee, Sound of Freedom or Lead Mine over Dalton. Busiek I'll only go to if I have a good chance of it being mostly empty.
