| So wife may have a chance to go to Portland for work in August. She thinks it would be a good paid(her portion) by her work trip for us. I am not so sure from all the negative I hear about that place. No we wont be really traveling out of the Portland area as there wont be enough time, all sight seeing would be in the city. Any honest recommendations?? I am leaning to no but wanted to hear some locals ideas first. Coming in from AZ via flight. Thanks |

Get ready for liberals, communists and drug addled homeless. Portland is generally dirty and disgusting with retarded drivers. Have to do something drastic to not get crashed into every time I drive through. The best places to visit are outside Portland. i believe OMSI is actually a Portland address. |
| If the two of you enjoy hiking, that time of year would be great to walk in Forest Park which is not far out of downtown. Miles and miles to walk not too strenuous. Portland Zoo. Pied Cow coffeehouse for a distinctly Portland dessert experience. Matt’s BBQ may be the best in Portland to eat if you like BBQ. There is a lot to see. |
