Long time Democrat Senator from Illinois, Dick Durbin, has announced his plan to retire. Durbin served in the U.S. House of Representatives as a congressman for fourteen years and as one of Illinois's two Democrat Senators for twenty nine years. It's good to see him go, for he has been an opponent of the Second Amendment for forty three years. The only problem will be his replacement, who will probably be worse. Gary |
