Hello everyone. I am once again a resident of Kingman. Been many years, but retirement meant I could live someplace quieter. I always called Mohave County the Appalachia of Arizona. Everybody spread out all over. Still is, if you drive 93 at night. I am guessing not a lot of members out here. Still getting to know my neighbors. I may need an electrical contractor for a panel changeout in the future if anybody has a lead. |

I spent the last 25 years accumulating cash from the democrats that run Las Vegas. The week my old house went in to Escrow, there was a drive-by shooting 3 doors away. Kingman is still a small town. BHC erupted - I graduated from High School there as the (now demolished) Mohave Generating Station was being built. Back then Kingman was where the nearest hospital was. And KRMC is still there - and a decent hospital. They have kept up with the times. 2 hours to the Airport in Las Vegas if you need to fly. Or 3 hours to PHX. Anything you need is here - or in BHC 40 minutes away. Cooler here. 10 degrees less than LV on any day. I live just north of the Kingman City limits. 1 acre lots, most of them with Trump signs. Normal to see a RZR flying a Trump flag driving down the street to Home Depot. Hope that answers your Kingman questions |

Thanks. It was an easy adjustment. Not much has really changed. People still wave - an empty hand. I have not heard a single horn honk when someone is 13 milliseconds too long at a green light. First week in the new house my neighbor brough me a dozen fresh eggs from his chickens. I do need to check out the range in Golden Valley. Moving was a chore after accumulating stuff in one place for 25 years. |

Yeah, there is very little due north of the Airport. Unless you count the Desert West Speedway. All of the lots where I am are 1+ acre properties. I managed to be just 1/4 mile away from the Kingman City limit. So I can still walk to the Safeway if I felt like it. It's quiet out here. I did forget how dark it can get out here. I like that. |

Either one, although the "New" is closer to me. In light of the fact that the 7 Mile Range charges $20 (Yowza!) per person for a single visit, or $120 for a yearly membership, perhaps a meet and greet would be better. I have a couple places where one can go to get trigger time discreetly. Quoted: Well, the annual membership is cheaper that Desert Sportsman in Las Vegas. And that place was not open to the public at all. Where do the FRT dirt shooters go to empty their brass around here? I can walk to the New Safeway. |
| I would be up for a get together sometime around Kingman. If you think $20 for as long as you want to shoot is to much, have you been to any other ranges that charge less? Match fees for most matches are $20, if not a member, so you get to shoot the match and includes range use. |

So $20 for the day for a decent range is fine. |

New Safeway has a Starbucks and casual seating. I too am retired so anytime is fine. Except stupid AM o'clock. I am a night owl, so mid mornings at the earliest.
