What is she up to in your neck of the woods.....or HOA?  Lower Citrus Co. here about twelve miles from the gulf and not much to report.  I've seen way worse in afternoon t-storms.  Rain is steady but not heavy at all.  Hardly any wind.

North Lake county here… on and off light rain all day, a little breeze but nothing big.

Light rain and breeze as of posting this.

ETA- more worried about my property up north in Jefferson county, currently the storm is projected to go right over it, hope I get a east or west turn.

Listening to the hum of generators right now.  I’m on the north end of Marion County and power is out pretty much everywhere up here.  It has been windy and wet outside.

Was that red car parked there when it flooded or was the driver trying to drive down the street ?

is that a usual occurrence with heavy rain?  or is something up with the runoff drainage?

I'm in Lake County.  Lots of wind and rain, and ended up with some water in my bedroom overnight Sunday into Monday, but nothing a Shop Vac and a fan can't fix.

We lost power at some point, but don't know when or for how long.  I just know some of my appliances were reset.  All our residential power lines are underground around here.

We got rid of all the trees a few years back, so no limbs or tree damage to worry about.

No, we have been in this neighborhood for about 7 years, through Ian and Irma and nothing like this.  We had a freak rain storm earlier this year that flooded a lot of places that hadn't flooded prior, but even for that we were no where near this.

I don't know if it is a factor, but the building in the county has exploded in the last few year and a lot of people are blaming that.  They have tried to keep up with building/expanding roads, but I don't think they have done much with the sewage and drainage to keep up.  It is really bad in a lot of areas around here.

Still no power.
Ventured out to fill gas can...a lot of lines are down near me...gas station had lines of vehicles out into the hwy.   F this..turned around and went home.
I can pump from my full truck (via fuel rail).

I gather that the Suwannee and related rivers will swell soon beyond what they already have.
I'm by the Suwannee and Santa Fe.  Should be interesting as my neighbor had the river reach his place last time it swelled a month or so ago.

ETA just saw that Suwannee SO and NG are going door to door along the river encouraging folks to evac due to expected flooding.

Watching my home via my Ring cameras and Facebook. In Sarasota in the Fruitville area at the intersections of Palmer and Lorrain my neighborhood (Artistry) is an island surrounded by water. 20" in 36 hours, and the annual average is about 56". Just a few weeks in June ago we got over 14" in less time, so our flood control ponds were full going into this.

Hopefully it will drain out by Friday.

Yes, that area along with the Bahia Vista/McIntosh corridor appears to have had the worst flooding in the county.  The county is supposedly opening up the dam near the celery fields to try and alleviate some of the flooding in that area.  Good luck, this was a crazy amount of rain.

Terrible flooding from Osprey to Sarasota. 15"-18" of rain in 36 hour period. Watch the first few minutes of this aerial footage. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WPIvMpzen_g

I couldn't imagine how few have flood Ins that far from the gulf.
