It's been a blast meeting new people from the forums over the last 12 years. Shoot invites, Tuesday nights, gun rallies, etc. As of next month, I'll be moving overseas. Most likely for good.
Bladeswitcher, 67Firebird, Giltweasel, and others. I had a great time meeting you all. Giltweasel, I hope your sons continue to be outstanding members of society. Mike |

We had some good times back then, but I remember you struggling during the cold times. I understand health issues, and being driven to find solutions. I hope your move brings all the results that you're hoping to achieve.

Closed on the home Monday, in the ER on Tuesday. It's been an interesting week for sure. I'm doing okay now. Carvana comes and buys my truck on Monday. Practically giving me what I paid for it. We will see if it's a smooth transaction or not. Less than two weeks until I fly out.

I hope the rest of it goes smoothly, with no more hospital time.

Knock on wood, as I don't want my flight plans canceled or lose money on my hotel booking. My health is my first priority. I just turned 50 and my body is just saying eff it. Small, simple things, are just wrecking me. I carried a few light bags of groceries for my sister this afternoon and it feels like someone gut punched me, then stomped on my back. |

I understand that. I hope a warmer climate makes things easier for you. I remember watching you struggle when we were shooting, or sitting around talking, when it was cold out.

Carvana was stupid easy to deal with. All in all, a five minute transaction and more beer money in my bank account.

I've heard that they were easy to deal with. Always good to know when it's true.

He thanked me for making his job super easy. I know I wouldn't have gotten nowhere near what Carvana offered me, from Rusty Drewing. |

Good luck with the move. I worked with a bunch of expats that moved over there.
Did you sell all your guns or store some w/ friends or family? |

Everything has been sold. I'm only taking 1 checked bag, 1 carry on, and my laptop bag. Everything else has been sold or given to family. |

That sure frees you from a lot of worry, over stuff.

Everything is taken care of for my arrival, except getting a new sim card for my phone, but they have those at the airport. |

Do you plan to post from there, or are you done once you move?

You might look into getting dual citizenship. With Thai citizenship comes the ability to own a firearm.

$47 for a double of McCallan 12 year and toasted ravioli at St.Louis airport. Can't pay in cash. I hate heights, so I needed something to take the edge off.

I don't know what McCallan is (I'm assuming it's whisky), but toasted ravioli is really good. Not worth that kind of price, really good.
Have a good flight. |
