I’m going to be taking a work trip to Cheyenne with a few of my coworkers at the end of July, and we are looking for something to do on one of the days where we will have some free time. The event we are participating in was in Colorado last year and we did a half day guided fly fishing trout trip that was fun, but I’m not seeing a lot of options like that in Cheyenne. We are open to other outdoor activities such as sporting clays or some other outdoor themed activity. Hoping some Wyoming locals can help this Florida guy find something fun and interesting to do for a half day while we are in the area. I’ve never been to Wyoming before and would like to get outside and experience the outdoors there in some way. Thanks in advance for any guidance. |

Lots of trails in the area. Head west to Vedauwoo or Curt Gowdy SP. If you want a couple places to hang out, Freedoms Edge or Black tooth are good breweries. ETA. If you head west, the Bunkhouse bar and grill is a neat little place. ETA 2. T-Joes. Best steaks around. |

I work in the premium cigar industry for a major manufacturer and will be in the area for a regional cigar festival with a couple of my coworkers. Really appreciate the dinner recommendation! Are you aware of any guided fishing, sporting clays, or other activities of the sort within a 1 Hour drive of Cheyenne? |

Within an hour if Cheyenne also gets you down to the Colorado front range and out to Laramie. You'd have to see about Laramie |

@Stoner01 Wanted to thank you for the T-Joe’s recommendation- my work buddies and I ate dinner there 2 of the 3 nights we were in Cheyenne and I really liked the place. Food was great and the staff was very kind and attentive. Thanks again for the info. |
