Does anyone have an account there? I cross posted this in GD for visibility and none of us can pull down the documents. Not sure if it's only something someone with an account there can do? If someone here with an account can let them know we can't get to them and fix that it would be great.

John Richardson is an award-winning blogger, gun collector, hunter, and Second Amendment activist. His blog, No Lawyers – Only Guns and Money, has been running for over 14 years and his blogging earned him the 2017 Ray Carter Blogger of the Year award from the Second Amendment Foundation.

He is an Endowment Life Member of the NRA, a life member of the Second Amendment Foundation, a life member of the Dallas Safari Club, and a member of Safari Club International. John is an NRA Certified Instructor for Basic Handgun, holds the North Carolina Concealed Handgun Permit, and an NC Lifetime Sportsman’s License. In addition, he has held a Curios and Relics FFL since the 1990s. While the bulk of his collection is military firearms from the WW2 era, he has recently been expanding into more modern sporting rifles made in 1973 and before.

John is a founding board member for the Carolina Foundation Chapter of the Dallas Safari Club which was organized in 2023. Its goal is to raise money for wildlife conservation and education in the Carolinas as well nationally. He has been active in promoting Second Amendment rights working with his state gun rights organization as well as having been a multi-year speaker at the Gun Rights Policy Conference.

Now retired and living in western North Carolina, he spent 25 years helping others to plan for their own retirement and held the Certified Financial Planner™ designation. During the pandemic while forced to work from home, John kept active by earning an associate’s degree in Hunting and Shooting Sports Management from Montgomery Community College. He is married to Barb, a retired RN, and has two daughters and two granddaughters.  

As noted earlier, John is a hunter. Taking advantage of North Carolina’s long archery deer season, he took his first buck with a crossbow 45 yards. Even more thrilling was watching his friend’s young kid’s great excitement as they helped track the downed buck. He also recently returned from his first hunt in Africa in June, which he considers the trip of a lifetime. That trip emphasized just how important hunters are for both conservation and economic development, especially in poor countries.
