My wife has some app that brings up every accident. Says she's sometimes afraid to drive with all the craziness on the road. I say it's no more than any comparable size city. There's always some accident somewhere. How do you think all those personal injury lawyers make a living? How's the rest of Texas, accidents getting more common or about the same given the amount of traffic? |

There's no 'accidents' They are traffic crashes. That said, collisions involving FRAUD are rampant near the border. This happens in other places but border regions, theres a whole industry in this tactic for fraudulent medical payments. Out of any urban area, crashes are less likely just because theres fewer imbeciles driving. Delete the app. Its worthless. Most crashes occur at intersections involving left turns. |

I don't know about the app. I think as a society, we are retard maxxing. The city of Forney has grown 5X since 2020, traffic has gotten a lot worse. It's not just more people = more accidents. More like, turning left out of the far right hand lane, cutting across two other lanes of traffic is acceptable. My wife came home the other day showing me her dash cam and bitching about it. And what's worse, you'll find people who'll defend it. Well it's ok to cut across if you don't hit anybody. Retard maxxing. The more you deny it, the more you passively embrace it. |

There are "certain communities" that consider drunk driving a skill to be honed. There are "certain communities" that consider driving under the influence of pot or "purple drank" a cultural imperative. Then there are all the idiots on their phones. Add in the idiots and it is a testament to highway design that there aren't fatal wrecks every few miles. |

Out of all the places I have ever lived, El Paso ranks the worst for drivers. Between the idiots at UTEP, the bases, then the drunk locals, the commerical guys no securing their loads and trailers, and then add in 10's of thousands of cars a day from Mexico..there are always threats and crashes. Its terrible here being on the roads.. |
