More info has emerged. Looks like a cover up was already afoot, other WSPers on site tried to talk RPD into handling some or most of the case, & blood draw wasn't taken for 6 hrs later (0.17 BAL). There was no cover up. She was a well known trooper due to her being a PIO. It’s common practice to let an outside agency conduct a criminal investigation when one of your own officers are accused/ involved in the crime. As far as taking 6 hours to get a blood draw, who knows when she arrived at the hospital and then you are waiting on hospital staff to conduct the blood draw and that can take awhile. I’ve had to bring many arrestees in to be cleared for booking due to medical and ingesting narcotics and waited for hours before I was cleared. |

There was clearly an attempt by WSP members to handle as much of the case as possible, only RPD declined the "offer", otherwise they were going to get involved. She was no-bailed - fat chance of that for the tax cattle crowd - & has been on paid leave since. Can't wait for the shenanigans at trial. |

| theres a time window in wa for the blood draw to be sole evidence at 2 hours more than likely this will render the test a mute point which is what im going to guess they were shooting for. ill call it know she get a few years probation and a couple months locked in her house with a nice new ankle bracelet. |

They charged her and now she’s going to trial like anyone else would be in a similar incident. She is definitely going to be doing prison time. |

But WA is kind of weird, WSP is supposed to handle everything on state highways, so not sure how that typically happens when they are involved. |
