That's the way it ought to be in my book. I live near the northeast side of Stockton Lake and can get to Springfield in an hour. East on 32 to 13 and then south. It's good highway all the way. KC is about a 2 hour drive. I seldom go that way unless I'm going to the airport. Even trips to Springfield ar e maybe monthly. |

We really like the area. The town of Stockton gets pretty busy with visitors a few weekends every year but not too bad. The people are friendly and it's still small town atmosphere. Springfield is about an hour away and KC about 2 hours. Usually we can find what we need in Stockton or Bolivar although we tend to use Amazon more since we moved here. I can't think what coffeehouse you're talking about. We see far more women driving pickups than Mercs. |
