Furthermore they do not even have the courtesy to respond to any email pertaining to this matter. The Damage is clearly inflicted by someone dissasembling butstock and dropping or dinging the Lower receiver where butstock meets Receiver. Thus metal is damaged not just finish wear. I find out from Armalite that Pk has had had this rifle in their posession for 2 years and sell it Listed Brand New online without disclosing the damage.....must have traveled to lots of shows in that time. Talk about Fraud I am stuck with a damaged rifle and out full cost without Recourse? BUYER BEWARE Did you try calling them? Pictures of the damage? |

Its not the guy that walks in with a gun and says he is going to start shooting that you have to worry about.
Its the guy that just walks in and just starts shooting. |

Not saying it isn't fraud, but how was it shipped and was it insured? Sounds like they might be trying to play off a turd on the shipper/insurance.

They are actually a very good company that I have done business with for over 6 years and never a complaint or issue. Give them a chance to fix this before accusing them of fraud.

It would be wise for OP to post some pics, or some other record of the transaction...

It is clear to see why they had it for two years I would not have bought a dinged rifle from a trader at a show or shop either. I bought 2 AR-10's last year. They both came new in Plano cases. That is the way Armalite ships them. Edit and one was a $2400 Super SASS. Give them a chance and I am sure they will fix you up. |

I do not hink this was caused by that or shipping It looks like a dimple directly into the corner of the reciever about 5mm long and 1.5mm wide metal is flaired and catches on skin or fingernail I am sure this had made lots of shows in it s day of sales. these will be for a short time only ... my camera does not take very good photos. http://i787.photobucket.com/albums/yy156/Tracker68/DSC02028.jpg http://i787.photobucket.com/albums/yy156/Tracker68/DSC02024.jpg Yeah, they had that for 2 years and it got used for a project in the meantime. No way that happens from people fingering a weapon at the store. Interesting place for that kind of hickey... |

Did you plan to shoot it or rub it with a diaper?
I can understand getting upset if you scratch the engraving on a 100 year old double rifle...but a little ding on a AR? I guess I'll never understand some folks. |

So what was the damage to the rifle? Can I at least see what it was? |

You can start a "-1" feedback thread here: http://www.ar15.com/forums/f_7/109_Feedback_ONLY.html
PK will have to respond to your feedback thread there. |

I'll save my thoughts on the people who can spend any amount of dollars on a rifle but can't devote 20 minutes to getting their body in shape for another thread. -skinnysarge79
