S&W model 73. 5000 only made in 1973 on the C frame in .38 SPL 2” bbl. Take a J frame, insert a K frame 6 rd cylinder. Smith answer to the Colt Detective Special. All collected up and destroyed. 5 known to be in hands of collectors

Model 70 under the $99 Thompson replica sold 10 year before, MP40 was the other one they made (both same weight/size as originals, but much lighter metal and utterly blocked barrels) Glenfield Skwerl Rifle not in picture. Upper left .410 Winchester, lower El Cheapo single shot 12 ga, 1st year 25-06 Ruger M77 at lower left and Marlin .22 magnum tube rifle.  |
