I live in NJ, we can't have adjustable stocks because they are just too dangerous...
any timeframe on the new fixed carbine stock? how about colors? Thanks |
|
yea, I know that. I am asking about the fixed CARBINE stock
http://store.magpul.com/product/MAG480/181 |
|
im interested too. got a MA compliant build i am finishing and would like to at least know the specs of this before i pin another MOE. i like the looks and idea of this one but am curious about its overall length and if the recoil pad can be swapped out.
|
|
I'm in the same boat as you guys, ban state and just don't want to pin a collapsible. Not to mention I already have the rifle stock on another build and I already have a rifle buffer set up to use.
|
|
I have an CTR, I set it where I wanted and drilled a small blind hole and pinned it with a roll pin, locked in place. BTW I'm in Jersey

Wondering why a QD socket port wasn't built into the spacer that sits flush against the receiver like on the MOE fixed rifle stock. |

Damn. that still looks pretty long thats what she said anyways, looks it to me too and i am hoping that front "spacer" comes in different sizes, could easily be cut down to a specific length or stock could be installed without it. if not, i'll be pinning another MOE where I like it... someday |

Just the solid end cap and the ASAP-compatible end cap. |

Forgive me if it's been covered but are we talking A1 length? Longer? Shorter?
ETA: Found it! Nevermind, nothing to see here. |

Sure. An A1 stock's lop is generally around 12.75 inches. On the Magpul site, go to "propaganda" and you'll find the 2013 pdf catalogue.
There's a great table with all their stocks listed with specs. The new fixed carbine is listed at 12.375 inches lop. |

Next week: Next month. Cut the shit. They've slowly shied back into showing us new product previews some time before they're ready to ship like they used to. Don't be part of the reason they go back to showing nothing at all until they're shipping to retailers and distributors. |

Does anyone know which Magpul QD Sling Mount would work for the fixed carbine stock? Is it the same one as the MOE Fixed Rifle Stock? Thanks!
