I figured the 3" less barrel length would make the suppressor easier to handle. That looks really nice, the only difference is mine has a 6PL instead of a scout light. I cant wait for my stamp to come back. |

I also read somewhere that anything shorter then 11.5" will ruin a suppressor in short order. If true, that might be something worthy to put in the OP.

Any chance you have a picture of this set up without the rail covers? Maybe a pic of a 11.5" upper with a DD Omega X 7? Thanks in advance! |

Watching for the 11.5" keymod uppers to come out with the new rails so I can snag one along with the keymod 14.5" lw upper. Just sold my other 14.5" upper in anticipation for one of them

So BCM, in your opinion, what are the pros and cons when comparing your 12.5" vs 11.5" uppers?

It looks to from .090 to .120 for time after passing the gas port which would produce the biggest change |

I took advantage of the free BCG and $1 gunfighter deal a couple of weeks ago and picked up a BCM 12.5 (not Kino) My reasoning was, while I currently run a 7.62 suppressor, I want a dedicated 5.56 suppressor on the SBR and I'm leaning heavily towards an Ops-inc can which needs the extra inch. |

BCM: why not give the customers what they want? A 10.5 or 10.3" barrel.
I am running an 11.5 chopped to 10.3 and have yet run into any reliability issues. |

Those aren't BCM made though. Indeed. If you read the first post, their reasoning is explained. But they are doing what you want by offering 10.5" barrel lengths by manufacturers of good reputation. If you must have a BCM, order an 11.5" and have it cut down and threaded. |

I've been in anguish over this decision between 10.5 & 11.5 for a while now...I'm buying my first SBR, and feel like if I paid the money for a stamp, I want it as short as I can that still is reliable...and that is 10.5". However, the BCM 11.5 just keeps smiling at me!
Can someone who has an 11.5 & 10.5 tell me if there is any appreciable difference they notice when navigating the rifle in close quarters? Can you tell that the extra inch is there? I know it probably sounds stupid, but I feel like I'd notice it. Also, those that have an 11.5 with suppressor...does that extra inch become more noticeable in this case? Thanks |

I've started T&E on a 10.3". With weight of the can out there, the inch isn't really noticeable. |

Bravo, I know you said "If I had to "go to war" with a AR15 Carbine, I would grab the BCM 11.5". In your experienced opinion, for a war type weapon, would you pick the lightweight or the A2 style with pinned FSB?

This is great info on the 11:5 and dwell time. What about 12.5. I am told that you have better terminal velocity with 12.5. Does it really make a difference. and if so at what distance do you see the difference.

I’ve sold my 10.3’s as well I kept my 11.5 and 2, 14.5” uppers on SBR lowers, I know the 10.3” works, but let’s face it that extra inch is nice, plus I’m not busting doors down, or trying to maneuver in ships so there is no reason for a 10.3 in my collection as I use the shit out of my rifled, I’ve even considered another 14.5 as where I’m at in rural Washington the longer barrel is more than worth it. I’m looking at either a 12.5 if it’s that much better, or a 16” middy. |

Any information on the current gas port size for the 11.5BCM BFH? I've heard reports of the BCM 11.5 being over-gassed, but I've been interested in picking one up! |
