I was told to direct this to Steve, so here we go Steve...
I have a Rock River Arms 1st Responder, new in the original hard case with matching end label. I’m donating this item to a high school girls softball team for a raffle. Curious about the 1st Responder designation. Was this a tribute to the 1st Responders of 9/11, or 1st Responders in General.? I know it was a Limited Edition available originally to EMS/ LE/ Mil. Curious also about a value. I’ve had this since the Obama years. |

If it is that vintage, it's a model FR1070 that was an exclusive to Orion Arms in Jeffersonville, Indiana. It was intended for resale to first responders only. There was no commemorative aspect to it (we did a separate 911 model for an organization in NY for that, which was essentially eliminated by the passage of the NY SAFE Act in early 2013).
I don remember what Orion was selling them for at the time. |
