Three products that I would have liked to see being offered a few years ago when I was putting together a "blaster-ish" AR22 pistol: 1) Flush fit .22LR mags (preferably with LRBHO trip capability) - I know it would only be 7 or 8 round capacity, but the aesthetics would be much more pleasing. ETA: Thermold 5 round AR mags are still available for use as a shell. While not completely flush, they're probably close enough for most potential buyers. You'd have to develop/manufacture the inner parts. 2) A "clean" plug for the receiver end cap. QD swivels are just wrong; and the part that is sold by another vendor for Airsoft guns is expensive and unattractive. 3) A 'Lateral squeeze/pinch and pull' charging handle. It's a .22LR - the standard, centerfire caliber finger hook and longitudinal pull configuration is overkill and unattractive. ETA: And such a cocking mechanism would more closely resemble the Mauser C96 cocking mechanism. Best of luck with your business venture. MHO, YMMV, etc. |

MHO, YMMV, etc. I really like the direction you're thinking, especially the aesthetics-first approach for AR22 builds. That flush-fit mag idea with LRBHO is intriguing. The Thermold shell suggestion is a great starting point. The clean end cap and C96-inspired charging also hit a sweet spot between function and form. Definitely adding these to the R&D radar.  " /> " />Some your parts, some not. I had a 5" 5.56 barrel lying around that I'm never shooting centerfire again. I bought some cheap Amazon rings that tightened up the scope to the centerline of the gun, and had to grind down the top right of the charging handle so it would clear the scope. |

Appreciate you running several of our parts, including the optic. Everyone puts their own spin on a build. We focus on making sure the parts do what they're supposed to do, wherever they end up. If it's running well and holding zero, that's a win on our end. MTFBWY |

Probably just a homemade kydex, I'm thinking. I've never made a kydex myself, it's probably time I learned. |
