| I would say I'm about to start a sh*t storm but since there are not a lot of people that own LAR47 I doubt there will be a shit storm. It amazes me that Rock River are so stuck on themselves. The only thing you need to do to build or manufacture a pistol for the LAR47 is shorten the barrel to a pistol length and implement pistol gas system. Easy Peazy. I built a pistol around the LAR-47 Upper and lower and it works great. Rock River makes it so very difficult to purchase their parts for this rifle it's ridiculous and the excuse of liability is bullshit. Once a person purchases the firearm it is no longer your concern at all what that person does with it or even if they get hurt with it. Especially since you have a disclaimer that the parts are not compatible with other manufacturers parts. Rock River you should be happy that you made a product like this, and it instead of disuading people from buying the parts you should celebrate it and encourage people to do it. Steve, Rock River has a potentially great product on their hands. It's a damn shame they don't know what to do with it. Rock River needs an entirely new support staff, marketing team, and sales team. Oh and stop selling the people of the good ol USofA out to the gov. |

No shit storm, and we aren't stuck up.
We showed an LAR-47 pistol at the SHOT Show this year, and I believe we had one at the NRAAM as well. There was some, but not a great deal, of interest in it, so we've been concentrating on other projects. I have one with an arm brace sitting on a shelf about four feet from me right now. I'll figure out some pricing issues and throw it on the web site at some point to see if it sells. Steve/RRA |
