Howdy. Like my 180. I know one straight option exists and I also understand that the gooseneck interfaces with the dust cover in the event the initial rearward motion of the BCG doesn’t deploy it fast enough.
Is there any plan for additional Ch handle designs or does anyone know of any additional aftermarket support? An Ak/m14 style handle, kdg style handle, or a folding handle would be neato. The main hiccup I foresee with a folding ch handle would be the brass getting deflected awkwardly or getting trapped. I’d test my own concepts if I had a printer and CAD, but unfortunately I lack the resources. |

The new BRN-180 SPORT comes with one.
So Brownells has them but not selling them. |

The charging handle on mine is very loose in the carrier.
Any recommendations? |

I saw my post revived and got excited. Turns out it was a false alarm
Still holding out for the aftermarket to deliver. |

I have one of the straight ones that I don’t want, if anyone is interested in buying/trading for it. Pm me.

We will have a couple options in the near future--one of which I'm REALLY excited about.

Still working on this. Unfortunately niche projects like this never get the priority from our manufacturing partners that we'd like. It's also very geometry specific so that it clears the dust cover in every situation.
But there are still options in the works. |

Will we ever see a left side (or forward/ambi) non reciprocating charging handle?

I picked up 2 OTD defense charging handle nubs, and nylon bumpers since I don't fold that direction. Very happy with them. I just wish they offered an FDE nub.
