There was also way too much wobble in extended and folded positions.
Did I just get a bad one or is this normal for these stocks?
Does Brownell’s have any plans to upgrade the hinge mechanism to something more solid?

Lower was an Aero Precision using a KNS picatinny adapter. When pushing down, the stock would stop just short of being able to fold. It had to be pushed down exactly right with a lot of force to get it in just the right position.
Lockup to the KNS adapter was solid. The wobble was entirely in the folding joint of the hinge mechanism.
I suspect something in the hinge mechanism was sufficiently off to cause both issues.
