Yes, bullets facing out. Should have clarified that. It's definitely a more common LE setup and suspect that would be the target audience. The Safariland 79 works really well, but it's not very universal though the same model fits Glock, M&P, and P320 mags it needs to be adjusted each time you switch between mags. It's also only available in solid colors. I've also tried ITW Fastmags and while they work decent enough on a 2" belt they do not secure very well to a 1.75" belt. BFG makes a 10 speed pouch in that configuration but the retention mechanism and being elastic are not conducive to reindexing mags. |

Only reason people do it is they just bought it cheap or got it issues and roll with it. It doesn’t actually save any actual real estate. |
