While wasting time looking at various websites, I ran across the Colt CR6921-EPR on Atlantic Firearms website. The odd thing is that nobody else has them available for sale and they're significantly less than the CR6920-EPR's that are for sale on Atlantic's website and elsewhere, $950 + $30 for shipping to be exact. The barrel is 14.5" but has a pinned and welded flash hider so that it's not an SBR. Youtube and the rest of the internet yield pretty much zero information. It seems like a decent configuration for the price. Any thoughts on why it seems to be so obscure?

The CR series of firearms has been renamed/changed. This change affects models such as the CR6920, CR6933, CR6940, CR6960, etc. The CR SKU has been changed back to LE. Be advised that although the SKU has changed back to LE, you will still see CR serial number prefixes. The 'New' LE SKU products have the following changes: 1. The 4-position receiver extension has been replaced by a 6-position receiver extension 2. The generic 'Carbine' marking on the magazine well has been replaced by the return of the "M4 Carbine" marking. If you are buying a CR6921-EPR, be sure to have the shop verify that the flash hider is indeed pinned and welded. That is not a normal feature on the CR6921-EPR but the commercial side may have done a special run for them. Holler if you have any additional questions. |
