On factory Colt barrels, there is a small "step" at the end of the threads; the diameter is about as wide as the widest part of the threads themselves. I'm not sure if this is called the shoulder, but it's what I labeled it as in my reference photo. I want to get a 14.5 barrel cut to 10.3" inches, threaded, and the gas port opened; when you cut/thread the barrel, is this step included? Attached File |
