| Looking at a DD5V5. Whats the differences between the generations? And how can you tell which rifle is which? |

When we launched the DD5s back in 2015, we only offered the V1 (16" .308) and V2 (18" .308). Initially, Keymod handguards were the only option but we later added M-LOK Handguard Options. All V1 and V2 Rifles were equipped with Geissele SSA Triggers. With the Launch of Gen 2 Rifles (V3 16", V4 18", and V5 20"), we introduced two new calibers, 6.5 CM and .260 Rem. We also removed the Geissele SSA and KeyMod Handguards and added a 2 position adjustable gas block. We also quite a few changes to the Bolt Carrier Group to include a DLC Coating. |

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure DD also went to a different receiver extension AND therefore buffer and buffer spring length/system on the Gen2 DD5's? Thanks, - Max |
