Zero doubt there will be a compact version. I think several YT reviewers even mention that Springfield has told them about different slide lengths and grip sizes that are coming. That’s pretty much the point of the chassis system. I’m sure there will also be a subcompact, a long slide, a Commander (19X) style, etc., etc. |
| This is what I was thinking as well. Would be silly to change the design as drastically as they did and NOT have different frames and such you could utilize. Be nice to also see it offered in other calibers, like 10mm or 45ACP. I would be surprised if they had a 40s&w version, pleasantly surprised, LoL |
