Only discussion about the CR prefix I've read is in Brownells Colt 6920 lower sale discussions. Seems some on this site equated the LE serial number prefix with a law enforcement model. It ain't. It's JAFAR / 6920. If your lower is not rolled marked "LAW ENFORCEMENT" it is not now, never has been, and never will be a "LAW ENFORCEMENT" model. ETA: And a LE roll marked 6920 lower is just another 6920 lower with a "LAW ENFORCEMENT" roll mark on it brought about by the ban years and later Colt marketing. Am I right? |

| This is what I had started to conclude as well. Honestly I don't get all the hoopla about having to have an LE prefix or a Law Enforcement marked rifle. I would prefer to not have that or the stupid Restricted markings they used to have. Amazes me people ask more for that crap in the EE and some pay more for it. |
