We'd like to take a few moments to address this issue and clear up any possible confusion. We have been in business for over 25 years and although not infallible we have always worked to ensure our customers are taken care of. In this particular instance we had the CZ 75 listed on our site for sale as NRA rated Fair Condition. In that condition it states that some major parts replaced: minor replacement parts may be necessary: in fair working order or can easily be repaired and placed in working order.
This pistol was sold to a FFL dealer who was our customer, then sold and transferred to a third party. We were not contacted by the FFL who purchased the pistol from us stating there was any issue with it at the time he received it. It was only after he sold it to the end customer that we were notified of a potential issue. The end customer stated to us that the pistol functioned fine but he had a concern with the cosmetics of the slide release.
We indicated that the pistol was listed at the time of sale in NRA Fair Condition and that we did not have replacement parts and any issues would need to be directed to the FFL dealer he purchased the pistol from. We believe that if the end consumer had an issue with the pistol at the time of purchase from the dealer that he would have not bought it and had it transferred to him and or the FFL could have notified us of a potential issue.
In closing we understand the complex nature of selling surplus items and take great care and attention to list them accurately with each listing having a NRA Rating clearly displayed in each listing. Furthermore we list the full NRA Surplus rating scale in each listing for full and accurate transparency. If any of our direct customers have issues with an item they have purchased from us we work to ensure they are taken care of as best as we can.
