I figure that it would be best to ask you here rather than calling since you folks are always on and maybe even some LT 7.62 owners can chime in. I have a few questions before I purchase an FFL transferred item. I am ready to purchase my TX built PredatOBR 7.62...  1. How long is the current wait time if I place my order this week on a 16.1 PredatOBR 7.62 2. Would it be possible for me to IM a TX LT staff member to see if my local FFL is already on file with you folks in TX? 3. Does the 7.62 PredatOBR come fully assembled? Or is is broken down in the tool box. (I prefer it fully assembled) 4. My FFL said that once the rifle is delivered that they will need to open the box and record the serial number...  I told them to wait until I arrive there. They said they have to enter it as soon as it arrive. My question is if the rifle ships with GOODIES, can the GOODIES come to my address verse my FFL.5. Will a tracking number be provided for the rifle and a separate one for the GOODIES. 6. Once the rifle ships, will you contact me to verify correct FFL address and all info? You order page just lists FFL, but no place to enter the FFL address. 7. If you were to look up my LT purchase history since 2007, you would shat on how much I love LT...  However this is my first LT to FFL transfer. I was making purchases on your first website design. I even remember the coupon code HO HO HO... 8. Love your TX company. However you need to relocate to FL...  |

But . . . . A good friend of mine ordered a 16" 7.62 TOBR Dec. 7th. He received it Dec 24th. To a FFL that was not on file. I believe his came assembled. You order the tool box separately now I believe. |

Too easy. 1. Current wait WAS approximately 2-4 weeks, however there's no telling if the LE FDE rush changed that. This depends on barrel availability last I checked. 2. You're better off calling or e-mailing Juli in regards to FFL status. Though I think Dan sometimes does the FFL portion too? I think he has e-mailed me in the past. 3. The tOBR comes fully assembled in an FDE long gun case. The tool box is no longer included but can be purchased separately. 4. The Swag box is sent seperately to your personal address. 5. Yes, you will receive 2 tracking numbers. One for each package. The Swag is sent ground or via surepost. The rifle is sent as requested/paid for upon check out. 6. You receive another e-mail OR instructions for supplying an FFL after the order is placed. It will have contact information for you to contact them if necessary. 7. You are one of the many. LaRue Tactical has a very large fan-base and it's well deserved. 8. Good luck with that.

I think it's a rare instance when someone in Texas can pick anything up from LaRue directly at present, so your order to FL isn't different from one in Texas or anywhere else. Exceptions I can think of are Texas valet for suppressors and if there are some extra built rifles that are not claimed around Christmas time for local buyers.
Rifle comes assembled. Swag box is mailed to the shipping address you list. You can order and FFL can be submitted by your dealer via online portal if they're not on file. LaRue.com/ffl You get an email including said information. Just place the order and everything will come together. |

If you need to know right away, can call and ask for compliance and the very nice folks @ LaRue will check for you to see if they have a current copy on-hand. (Current as of 1/1 on the email and Monday on the super friendly staff and checking for me after my FFL said I should be good to go already.) |

Once you have an order number you can ask your dealer to submit a copy of their FFL online at the url I noted -- it has fields for order number, customer name, etc. Depending on how close you are with your dealer, you could ask them to email you a copy of their FFL and submit it yourself to be certain. For example, I have a pdf copy of my dealer's FFL on my computer and just submit it myself. |

Typically I will give them a heads up with my information when something ships so they can let me know right when it comes in... and call a few hours after delivery notification from tracking to make sure it's ready to pick up (if they don't call me first). They won't just give your gun away lol. |

I emailed some guy about a mint 1973 Browning Citori in original box off gun broker (don't have an account) a few years back that I might want to cannibalize for parts someday because it was the same year as my Grandfather's. Called him at the number and it was some old timer cleaning out his safe (sad), had a check in the mail that day. Gun showed up at my FFL and all was right with the world. OP worries far too much, makes life too difficult. |

Not sure which part of Fl you live in but I have two rifles and one build all from LT and the two assembled came in without a hitch. My ffl is a good friend so that helped in knowing no one would be playing with it before I got the call. However I was able to track it and knew when it would arrive. My P'tar 7.62 took 9 weeks almost to the day. Was told ten wks. Only bc they were working on 5.56's at the time I ordered.
I got my rifle in Dec 15'. Swag will be here 1-08-16. Reason for the delay is that the tranquillo break was on b/o so I ask they just ship it all at one time to save on shipping. I know what a good customer I am. So it will be an early birthday for me. Shoot I got my poly set from the giveaway contest I won today. Gotta figure out what I am going to put that on now. So just be patient great things take time, you will not be sorry. I know my first was a tobr and took over a year.
