 My current oldest Colt carbine made and bought new in 1993 model R6830 marked Sporter Lightweight Cal. 7.62X39 ser. LH 004XXX originally with standard A2 fixed stock. Minor upgrades are Colt mil-spec captured pivot pin, 6 position mil-spec LaRue Tactical buffer tube, Colt H2 buffer and B5 Systems CAR-15 Colt FiberLite type stock. |

 Same carbine I posted on Oct. 6, 2022, except now I'm using my other 6920 M4 carbine upper half with KAC M4 RAS rails, Surefire M951 and KAC 300m rear BUIS. Also I changed my stock with a new B5 Systems enhanced SOPMOD and using Aimpoint Duty red dot mounted on Scalarworks micro QD mount. |

My 2 Colt AR's... One on the left is my 6921. Started as a 6920-OEM2 and replaced/added what was needed with Colt parts (except for the BCM Ext-A2 FH) to make it into a 6921. One on the right is my 6960-CCU. This one was completely pieced together (Mostly from the EE) and is almost 100% correct. I deviated by using the standard K2 grip instead of the SL and used the aluminum MP TG instead of the plastic one. I then added a BCM VFG, Troy BUISs (still my favorite) and a Trijicon TR24R in a Larue mount and have a Surefire Scout Pro and Modswitch enroute. Not sure about the optic? I was going to use my Aimpoint M4S (and may still) but I have a different AR better suited for CQB so I'm trying this setup out as a general purpose, recce'ish kind of build? |

Added 1 more, an AR15A4...  Kept this one is fairly stock for now except I did install a Colt CS stock (instead of the standard A2) and a Geissele SSA-E trigger and PRI Mil Big latch to the CH. I would like to find the short lever for the right side of the ambi safety and I am considering adding a FF rail (probably a DD Omega) and a variable power optic to it at some point (already have a Leupold Mark 3HD 3-9X40 TMR that would be perfect for it, just need a different mount). Family shot with its bros, M4 (6921) and Colt Combat Unit (6960)...

Attached File My pawn shop rescue 1991. Had a lot of rust but cleaned up real nice with no pitting. Replaced all the springs, gi grips, short colt trigger and colt arched mainspring housing. It’s been going with me on all my range trips lately. |
