Does the MK8 barrel nut work with any of the other Geissele rails? I ask because if I did want to change rails and not fool with the barrel nut. Thanks |

Originally Posted By spyderboy03: The MK4/MK8 barrel nut works with all the rails. The MK14/MK16/MK20 barrel but only works with the thinner rails. So, if you want to put a MK16 on your MK8 barrel nut it will work. However, the barrel nut the MK16 comes with won't work with the MK8. |

| I would really like to hear somebody from Geissele chime in here. I usa a MK8 barrel nut on one of my rifles specifically because I like swapping between the MK8 rail and a MK16 rail. I'm sure this is voiding any warranty and not officially supported/endorsed but I'd like to know for sure I'm not causing any damage or weakening anything. |
